About Us
We take dryer vent cleaning work in Escondido, CA and the towns around it. Straight pricing, a real arrival window, and a crew that tells you honestly what a job will and will not fix.
You call or book online, we give you a two-hour arrival window, and we call when we're on the way. Before the brush comes off the truck, we look at where your dryer sits, how far the duct runs, and where it ends up outside. Then we tell you what the job involves and what it will cost. If the run is short and straight, you'll hear that. If your laundry is upstairs and the vent exits through the roof, you'll hear that too, since that's the part that moves the number more than anything else. Nothing gets started until you've agreed to it.
Escondido and the inland valleys run hot and dry, so lint stays loose and powdery instead of packing into the damp mats we pull out of coastal homes in Encinitas or Solana Beach. Dry lint moves, but it also drifts and settles in elbows. Housing era tells us more than anything else about what we'll find. Pre-1980 single-story ranch and bungalow stock around older Escondido puts the dryer on or near an exterior wall, so the run is 4 to 10 feet. Those are quick, except the duct is often original flexible foil or vinyl, crushed flat behind the appliance, feeding a brittle plastic louvered hood. In that case cleaning isn't the fix and we'll say so. Replacing the run with rigid metal is what actually solves it. Post-1990 two-story tract homes are the other common call. Laundry moved upstairs between the bedrooms, and now you have a 20 to 35 foot run with multiple elbows terminating through the roof or a high gable. That geometry is where lint accumulates and where airflow drops off first. Condos and townhomes with interior stacked closets venting into a shared chase are their own problem, and we work those carefully.
On site we bring a rotary brush on a flexible drive line, a vacuum that captures at the source instead of blowing lint into your laundry room, and an anemometer to read airflow at the hood before we touch anything. That reading is the honest test. We take it again at the end so you can see the difference. We work behind stacked units, pedestal washers, and units wedged into tight closets, and we put everything back where it was. Sometimes the before reading is fine and the duct is clean, and we tell people that straight out instead of selling a service they don't need yet. If the hood flap is broken, the duct is disconnected inside a wall, or a long uninsulated attic run is sweating from cold winter nights and coastal fog pushing inland, that's a repair call, not a cleaning call. If you're buying a house or just want to know what you've got, a straight inspection is the cheaper place to start.
Our service area
We cover Escondido and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a dryer vent cleaning problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.
When do we tell you to replace the duct instead of cleaning it?
Cleaning fixes lint. It does not fix geometry. The first thing we check is what the duct is made of and how it runs. Original flexible foil or vinyl behind a pre-1980 Escondido ranch dryer needs replacement, not cleaning. Those runs are short, 4 to 10 feet, straight to an exterior wall. Crushed foil behind the appliance will collapse again next week.
Rigid metal in good shape gets cleaned. That is most of the job. We brush it, vacuum it, and leave the duct alone.
Two-story tract homes change the math. San Elijo Hills, Bressi Ranch, Ocean Hills, the Temecula master plans: laundry upstairs between bedrooms, 20 to 35 feet of run, elbows, roof or gable termination. Here we count elbows before we quote anything. If the lint is packed solid at the second elbow and the dryer has run long cycles for months, cleaning buys time. Rerouting fixes it. We say which one applies.
Plastic louvered hoods get swapped. They trap lint at the flap, and birds like them.
Condo stacked closets venting into a shared chase are the one case where we sometimes recommend nothing. If the chase belongs to the HOA, cleaning your leg alone may not change your dry times. We tell you that before we start.
